Early literacy stories, songs and plays based on the children’s classics, such as The Tale of Peter Rabbit, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Where’s Spot?, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, and Snowy Day.
Learn about these ancient animals, see actual fossils, dig through Jurassic sand to find your own fossil and even find out how tall dinosaurs were (a 50ft indoor space or outside space with no wind is required).
Explore South Florida’s marine environment, from its mangrove coastlines to coral reefs. Activities include creating mangrove forests out of pipe cleaners and Gyotaku (Japanese fish printing).
Learn the techniques and styles of one of the masters. Choices include Seurat, Picasso, Joan Miró, Vincent Van Gogh, Jacob Lawrence and more.
You’ve only got one body, learn how to take care of it. We study exercise, nutrition and the structure and function of the body. Food demonstrations are available with special request.
Give us a country and topic and our education staff will develop curriculum to meet your needs. Cost: $175. All activities are for a 40-60 minute single classroom presentation. All materials are supplied by Miami Children’s Museum.

Pete the Cat
This is our laid back cool presentation of three Eric Litwin’s Pete the Cat stories. This show includes a hip-hop dance class.
The Monkey King
This is a shadow puppet show about a classic Chinese myth. Students learn about Chinese culture and try their hand at Chinese calligraphy.
Music & Dance
Stretch, groove, and have fun while learning to dance! Miami Children’s Museum’s dancers lead classes in a variety of musical styles for tots to teens.
