Well, as a family man , we are always looking for activities for our children. Miami chidren's museum , was an excellent. The staff was very helpful and all the amazing things you can learn in one day. Plan for a couple of hours to really enjoy the whole experience. It was a fun day and we took numerous of pictures. Our family really recommends everyone who visits Miami, must attend this amazing attraction!

We’re open everyday 10am-6pm, except Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day (closed 4pm on Christmas Eve and 4pm on New Year's Eve). Open 12pm on New Year's Day. There is always something new to do with the fun and educational programs and activities at the museum. If you're thinking of visiting MCM, this section will provide all the information you need.

*For the safety of all our guests, there are no adults allowed in the Museum without children, and no children allowed without adults (18 and over).

Reciprocol Membership Visitors

Effective as of February 14, 2011: A current membership card from a reciprocal institution and a valid ID must be presented for admission tickets.

Parking

Our parking lot is operated by Miami Parking Authority and located on the south side of Watson Island. Parking rates are $1/hour, seven days a week. For your convenience, there are two automated pay stations in the lot and one pay station in our lobby. Receipt does not have to be placed in car and guests may also use automated phone for payment. Additional Information

Our exhibit galleries, auditorium, and other spaces are equipped with elevator, ramps, flexible seating, and entrances that ensure accessibility for visitors. Exhibit videos include color-coded open captioning in English and Spanish to meet the needs of the hearing impaired. Public signage throughout the facility contains Braille and large print, following American Association of Museums guidelines for maximum visibility for sight-impaired visitors.

We have outdoor exhibit and dining areas, a Subway restaurant and Kidsmart Educational Gift Shop.
