I Like Myself
High on energy and imagination, this ode to self-esteem encourages kids to appreciate everything about themselves–inside and out. Messy hair? Beaver breath? So what! Here’s a little girl who knows what really matters.
Sing along with Krystal, one of our MiChiMu Theatre Troupe players, to I Like Myself by Karen Beaumont!
How much do you like yourself?
The Color Monster
Books are a great way to encourage your children to open up and discuss how they feel, even when their thoughts are confusing. Join Stephon from our theater troupe as she reads “The Color Monster”, by Anna Llenas.
How do YOU feel today?
Listen to the Rain
What do you feel when you hear the rain? In this tale, Bill Martin Jr. and John Archambault take us on a journey evoking the beauty, mystery, sounds, and silences of rain.
Join Bree-Anna as she sings along to, “Listen to the Rain”. At home, you can encourage your children to use instruments or household items to coincide with the rainstorm… soft sounds leading to louder sounds and singing as the storm progresses. It’s easy and fun to sing together as a family!
Do you ever stop and listen to the rain?
