Join us every Friday for a high-energy experience designed to get little bodies moving! Through playful movement, music, and hands-on activities, children will build coordination, balance, and body awareness. From freeze dance and ribbon twirling to water bin play, tossing games, and exploring the difference between heavy and light, each session is packed with gross motor fun, sensory exploration, and plenty of reasons to wiggle, jump, and groove.

Mini Mondays are a place for infants and toddlers to grow and develop through play. Join us every Monday for a program full of play-based activities specifically designed for children from birth to five.

Baby STEAM: Where STEM meets the ARTS – a first step into STEAM discovery

Baby STEAM is an enriching weekly program designed to captivate our youngest visitors while showcasing Miami Children’s Museum’s commitment to playful, early learning. With a unique blend of science, technology, engineering, art, and math—tailored for ages 1 to 3—each session offers sensory-rich, age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, confidence, and critical thinking. By highlighting gallery exploration, art integration, and interactive storytelling, Baby STEAM positions the Museum as a leader in early childhood education and STEAM programming, while providing valuable content for family engagement, sponsorship visibility, and community outreach.

Put on your best costume and get ready to trick or treat throughout Miami Children's Museum's 17 galleries on Sunday, October 5th from 1pm to 5pm! This family-friendly Halloween extravaganza returns for activities like mini pumpkin decorating, spooky arts and crafts, lunch, character meet & greets, and much, much more! Our renowned Haunted House is back, enter if you dare!

All funds raised through this event will directly the support the Museum's educational programs, ensuring the highest quality immersive, hands-on learning experiences for our community's children of all backgrounds and abilities.

This month’s theme brings food and shopping routines to life through playful, sensory-rich activities that support real-world learning. We'll provide a batch of freshly baked brownies, and you'll get to be the artist. Decorate your brownie with colorful frostings, edible googly eyes, sprinkles, and candy corn to help you create your own edible masterpieces.

It's a special time for you and your family to explore, play, and enjoy the exhibits at your own pace. Plus, we're serving complimentary coffee to help parents start the morning off right!

Join us for our Sunday Showcase with Soraya Abu Nabaa, the artist behind the installation in our museum entrance, as she leads a special hands-on workshop! During this unique experience, Soraya will share how she develops her artwork and creative process. Children will then participate in a fabric-based workshop, exploring texture, color, and imagination while guided by Soraya herself.

Step into our lab for a weekend of sweet science and explosive fun at our Mad Scientist Candy Lab! Put on your lab coats and goggles and prepare for some amazing experiments. We'll be using your favorite candies to learn about things like dissolving, crystal growing, and how to separate colors.

Families are invited to explore our galleries in costume, venture through our Haunted House, and stop by candy stations throughout the Museum for sweet treats along the way. It’s the perfect chance to dress up, trick-or-treat safely indoors, and enjoy a night of playful chills and thrills with the whole family.
