Join us every Friday for a high-energy experience designed to get little bodies moving! Through playful movement, music, and hands-on activities, children will build coordination, balance, and body awareness. From freeze dance and ribbon twirling to water bin play, tossing games, and exploring the difference between heavy and light, each session is packed with gross motor fun, sensory exploration, and plenty of reasons to wiggle, jump, and groove.

Mini Mondays are a place for infants and toddlers to grow and develop through play. Join us every Monday for a program full of play-based activities specifically designed for children from birth to five.

Baby STEAM: Where STEM meets the ARTS – a first step into STEAM discovery

Baby STEAM is an enriching weekly program designed to captivate our youngest visitors while showcasing Miami Children’s Museum’s commitment to playful, early learning. With a unique blend of science, technology, engineering, art, and math—tailored for ages 1 to 3—each session offers sensory-rich, age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, confidence, and critical thinking. By highlighting gallery exploration, art integration, and interactive storytelling, Baby STEAM positions the Museum as a leader in early childhood education and STEAM programming, while providing valuable content for family engagement, sponsorship visibility, and community outreach.

We’re challenging you to find the most imaginative spots in our exhibits—from striking a "super-strength" pose in our Fitness area to finding your "grocery goals" at Publix. Follow the clues, capture your best action shots, and tag us to show off your museum adventure!

Young athletes can kick goals in soccer, crawl and climb through an obstacle course, work together during parachute play, and try their hand at a mini golf workshop made just for little ones. This active-filled day encourages coordination, teamwork, and confidence while celebrating the joy of moving our bodies through play.

Join us for a day of inspiration, action, and imagination as we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Start your journey at our MLK Storytime, where we’ll bring history to life through powerful storytelling. Afterward, head over to our Dream Station to add your own "I Have a Dream" cloud to our community sky. Finally, follow in Dr. King’s footsteps by standing up for what you believe in, by designing a T-shirt that promotes your message of kindness, fairness, or hope on your very own paper doll.

Little ones can glide across the rink during sock skating, then grab soft hockey sticks to pass, shoot, and score goals in a playful sock hockey zone designed just for them. This hands-on experience encourages movement, coordination, and teamwork while introducing the basics of hockey through imaginative, active play.

There’s no denying it, kids love animals! So, join us for a fun-filled exploration of all things animals through music from New World Symphony, art, movement and more! Meet adorable dogs from Heel 2 Heal Therapy Dogs and learn about local Florida wildlife with a special animal encounter.
