Baby STEAM: Where STEM meets the ARTS – a first step into STEAM discovery

Baby STEAM is an enriching weekly program designed to captivate our youngest visitors while showcasing Miami Children’s Museum’s commitment to playful, early learning. With a unique blend of science, technology, engineering, art, and math—tailored for ages 1 to 3—each session offers sensory-rich, age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, confidence, and critical thinking. By highlighting gallery exploration, art integration, and interactive storytelling, Baby STEAM positions the Museum as a leader in early childhood education and STEAM programming, while providing valuable content for family engagement, sponsorship visibility, and community outreach.

Mini Mondays are a place for infants and toddlers to grow and develop through play. Join us every Monday for a program full of play-based activities specifically designed for children from birth to five.

BOO! Put on your witches hats, superhero capes, fangs and practice your ghoulish screams, it’s time to celebrate Halloween!  Step into our Mad Scientist Lab with your X-ray vision to create your very own X-ray of your hand, journey through a thrilling (Not-So-Scary) Haunted House, decorate mini pumpkins with paint, fabric and more, and enjoy special spooktacular performances of Creepy Pair of Underwear by our in-house theater troupe.  Don’t forget to find all hidden ghosts roaming the Museum halls in an epic scavenger hunt.  Find them all for your chance to win a Halloween Squishmellow!  Miami Children’s Museum is your must see and do Halloween destination designed just for families in an airconditioned, safe and fun-filled environment.

BOO! It’s almost Halloween and we wanted to celebrate with the mini-est of our guests with a special Mini Monster Monday. Dress up in the cutest or spookiest of costumes, trick- or-treat at 12:00pm and 3:30pm, catch a performance from our brand new show, The Creepy Pair of Underwear, tour the Haunted House (if you dare!) and join in our regular Mini Monday play based activities with a creepy twist.
