Celebrate the final days of our Take Care with Peanuts exhibit with activities that honor the heart of the Peanuts message, taking care of the Earth, yourself, and each other.
At the Peanuts Garden Station, kids can plant a seed in a biodegradable pot and learn how even small acts of care can make a big impact. At Charlie Brown’s Compliment Card Station, children will decorate cards with kind messages for friends, family, or museum staff using colorful stamps, stickers, and Peanuts-themed templates. Little ones can make friendship bracelets and take a pledge to be kind, helpful, and inclusive, adding their promise to our community board. Don’t miss our special Sensory Bin, filled with soft textures, calming scents, and playful Peanuts-inspired objects. This hands-on activity invites kids to explore what it means to care for yourself, the planet, and those around you through touch. Finally, join us for a Peanuts Dance Party, where children will learn classic moves inspired by the Peanuts gang and discover how movement and play can help take care of their bodies.
Kids are invited to get hands-on and a little messy as they explore the fun of slime-making and splatter painting. Whether they're mixing up gooey creations or flinging paint in our outdoor splatter zone, this experience is all about creativity without the cleanup worries. We'll also be covering the walls and floor with butcher paper, inviting kids to do something they can’t usually do at home—draw and doodle on the walls and floor to their heart’s content. It’s a celebration of bold expression, big movements, and boundless imagination.
Join us for our Anniversary Glow Party with fun for the whole family! Dance under the blacklights at our DJ dance party, grab some glow sticks, and dive into glow-in-the-dark activities like painting, science experiments, and more.
