Being a Member at Miami Children’s Museum means that you can get access to special events and experiences, experience traveling exhibits before they open to the public, enjoy special pricing on birthday parties and camps, enjoy additional events hosted by our partners, and so much more!

Every Monday | 11AM | Ages 0-5 | 25-30 Minutes | Space is Limited

What’s better than reading books? Singing, chanting, and dancing to them! Enjoy Mini Mondays programming from home with our Theatre Troupe as they read and sing classic children’s books like, “I Like Myself”, “Listen to the Rain”, “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom” and more. Create masterpieces with our Studio Artists during interactive Zoom workshops every Friday. Our virtual Member Masterpieces art workshops feature different activities weekly. Check your email for a registration link and join us live on Zoom to let your little artists shine!

 

OCTOBER 30 | Hocus Pocus Handprints

Create your favorite Halloween monsters with green handprints and paint. You can choose from monsters like Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, witches, or you can create your own!

Duration: 30-40 minutes

Age Group: 0-4 years

NOVEMBER 6 | Found Item Self Portraits | 4:30PM

Using small items found around your house, create collage-like self portraits on paper. Gather as many small items as you can from recycling or your craft drawer and see what new ways we can use found material to create art!

Duration: 30 minutes

Age Group: 5+ years

Materials:

Found items may include:

  • Popsicle Sticks
  • Yarn / String
  • Bottle Caps / Lids
  • Corks
  • Pieces of Paper
  • Wooden Objects 
  • Erasers / Old Crayon Pieces
  • Any other objects you may have laying around

 

NOVEMBER 20 | Fun with Feathers | 4:30PM

This process art activity uses paint and feathers to make a turkey, a perfect Thanksgiving activity for the kids! The feathers are used as a brush and also add fun sensory textures to the artwork!
