3/20/20 Museum Update

Dear Friends of Miami Children’s Museum,

We would like to thank you for your support during this difficult time. While the Museum is closed to the public, we remain dedicated to serving our community and fulfilling our mission. As a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping all children achieve their highest potential, we are deeply concerned about how COVID-19 has disrupted the lives of everyone in our community, including our team members.

Since we closed, our team got to work immediately to begin finding ways to bring the Museum’s programs to families digitally. This will include musical story time, resources for children with disabilities, art activities, and more!

We understand that families are being challenged to fill their children’s days with enriching activities and many parents are concerned that their children will fall behind developmentally. We recognize how daunting and stressful this is and we want to assure you that we are working as fast as we can to roll out online programming to assist you and support your child’s learning.

For the latest content please follow us on Instagram, Facebook, hayamix and Twitter and YouTube.

We are also providing families the opportunity to purchase educational items through our digital gift shop. We have a wide variety of educational toys, games, musical instruments and books! Email apita@miamichildrensmuseum.org for more information and details on limited local delivery or curbside pick-up!

We look forward to you joining us on this journey of digital discovery. Remember, YOU are the spirit of play and you can tap into that spirit wherever you are!

Please let us know if you have any suggestions on what you would like to see on our digital platforms or if there is anything we can do for you.

Be well, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Museum as soon as possible.
