School is back in session this Fall and the classroom experience is open once again! Get ready for the new school year at Miami Children’s Museum’s annual Back to School Bash taking place on Saturday, August 7 - Sunday, August 8 at the Museum located at 980 MacArthur Causeway on Watson Island in Miami. This event is presented by PNC Bank and sponsored by Casa Smiles and Florida Dairy Farmers.
With the new school year fast approaching, the Museum is preparing in the most playful way possible! Decorate school folders in the Art Studio using math-based art skills, enjoy interactive story times with the Theater Troupe, participate in a Back to School raffle, and try a STEM activity to get your brain waves moving. Then visit with local partners for resources to aid in your child’s success during the school year, including the Miami-Dade Public Library and Parent to Parent.
Miami Children’s Museum’s Back to School Bash is the perfect way for your children to get ready to enter the classroom once again. With the challenges of the previous year caused by the pandemic, we have created a valuable program that will be great preparation for the upcoming school year. Make sure to join us and give your children the head start they need to take on the new school year!
For more information about the Back to School Bash celebration at Miami Children’s Museum, please visit miamichildrensmuseum.org. Museum admission is now being offered for two-hour play sessions from 10AM – 12PM, 1PM – 3PM and 4PM – 6PM. After each session team members clean and sanitize the facility and swap out props for the next group. Masks will be required at all times for adults and children ages 2 and older. Admission to the Museum is $22 for adults and children, $15 for Florida Residents, free for children under 1 year, and complimentary for Museum Members. Advance ticket purchase is required through the Museum’s website miamichildrensmuseum.org as session tickets fill up quickly!
