Outreach Programs

These 30-40-minute interactive storyt ellings and performances are offered in-person. . All participants must be seated throughout the entirety of the program. The minimum performance space requirement is 14ft x18ft. Capacity will be dependent on performance space. Please send dimensions of the performance space so that we can determine maximum capacity.

TEDDY AND THE GREAT TRAIN RIDE

Sam and Jamie fall asleep after reading their favorite Thomas the Train stories. Suddenly, a weird and wonderful train journey unravels in their very own bedroom. They meet alligators called UTA, sharks at Publix, princesses in towers and a friendly conductor. But wait! Has anyone seen Teddy?

THE LOST PIRATES

Three captains are washed up after a gigantic storm on Watson Island. Find out who becomes captain of this here island in this original theater show.

THE BIG QUESTION

The Big Question is an energetic, zany, interactive show, exploring all things science. Our wickedly cool science team, Ada, Albert, Charles, Isaac, Marie and Rosalind will ask you, the studio audience, to choose a mystery BIG question for the day and then use their scientific knowledge to observe, ask, discover, test and try again to figure it all out.

BUILDING NOISE

Follow an ordinary workday of three construction workers who don’t build walls or towers but instead build noise. Through body percussion, everyday objects and boom whackers, the builders build rhythm and songs to get through their day. This interactive piece concludes with the audience building one giant soundscape. To keep in line with the building theme, our set is created out of Imagination Playground. Our construction workers can work with your students to facilitate a gigantic building experience.

SIMAMA NAMI

(STAND WITH ME)

Simama Nami is a salute to African storytelling, as it follows the journey of a rhino, chimp and dung beetle seeking refuge in a cave. Something outside the cave is upsetting the three animal sand they must band together with their unique attributes to face their fears and solve their problems. At its heart, Simama Nami is a call to action. We ask our audiences to stand with us to look after each other, each living creature, and the world we live in. This is our world to share.
