Rainbow Families

June is Rainbow Families Month at Miami Children's Museum. We invite you to join us for a full month of programming and activities that are fun for the whole family. Join us as we spotlight our LGBTQ+ friends, artists, scientists, activists, and more. Together with our community LGBTQ+ partners we provide a safe, inclusive environment for families of all backgrounds and make ups to celebrate what makes their family special. Collaborative art projects, story times, and live theatrical performances will be tailored to introduce and discuss topics that highlight that each family is unique, special and important and while all families are different, they are also the same in many ways. This programming is not only meant to provide important opportunities for representation, but also to help children build acceptance and teach the importance of inclusion.
