Join us every Friday for a high-energy experience designed to get little bodies moving! Through playful movement, music, and hands-on activities, children will build coordination, balance, and body awareness. From freeze dance and ribbon twirling to water bin play, tossing games, and exploring the difference between heavy and light, each session is packed with gross motor fun, sensory exploration, and plenty of reasons to wiggle, jump, and groove.

Mini Mondays are a place for infants and toddlers to grow and develop through play. Join us every Monday for a program full of play-based activities specifically designed for children from birth to five.

Baby STEAM: Where STEM meets the ARTS – a first step into STEAM discovery

Baby STEAM is an enriching weekly program designed to captivate our youngest visitors while showcasing Miami Children’s Museum’s commitment to playful, early learning. With a unique blend of science, technology, engineering, art, and math—tailored for ages 1 to 3—each session offers sensory-rich, age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, confidence, and critical thinking. By highlighting gallery exploration, art integration, and interactive storytelling, Baby STEAM positions the Museum as a leader in early childhood education and STEAM programming, while providing valuable content for family engagement, sponsorship visibility, and community outreach.

Join us for a cozy Mini Apple Pie Workshop! Guests will fill a mini baked dough pouches with with sweet apple pie filling, and add their own creative touches before enjoying a cozy comfort.

Celebrate the magic of the season as Winter Wonderland: Sock Skating opens to the public! Step into our transformed What’s New Gallery, where snowflakes sparkle, socks slide, and winter fun comes to life for the whole family. The celebration kicks off with a festive ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by snowy, hands-on programming throughout the day. Guests can enjoy the premiere of The Lost Pirate Show, Then, head over to Professor Flurry’s Lab, where our delightfully kooky winter scientist is hard at work creating “snow-tastic” experiments!

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and the Mini Monday team has prepared a special Fall and thankful activities just for your little ones. Compete in our annual Turkey Trot, prepare your Thanksgiving Day apple sauce during Cooking Play, and join New World Symphony for a special toddler-friendly performance from 11:00 am-12:00 pm. Come dressed for the season!

Join us for Week of Remembrance - Healing Through Play, a four-day program honoring love, memory, and healing through creativity. In partnership with the Association of Children’s Museums and Knology, guests are invited to visit the Art Studio from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM to create a colorful butterfly, a symbol of grief and transformation, using water pipettes and vibrant dyes. Each butterfly will be added to a collaborative canvas filled with painted flowers and leaves, forming a shared tribute to loved ones. Families can also join special Story Times for Healing on Tuesday and Thursday, featuring books that celebrate comfort, resilience, and the power of play.
