Baby STEAM is an enriching weekly program designed to captivate our youngest visitors while showcasing Miami Children’s Museum’s commitment to playful, early learning. With a unique blend of science, technology, engineering, art, and math—tailored for ages 1 to 3—each session offers sensory-rich, age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, confidence, and critical thinking. By highlighting gallery exploration, art integration, and interactive storytelling, Baby STEAM positions the Museum as a leader in early childhood education and STEAM programming, while providing valuable content for family engagement, sponsorship visibility, and community outreach.

Get ready for a weekend celebrating the rich music, traditions, and culture of Hispanic Heritage Month! Play in a friendly dominoes tournament, learn to dance salsa and merengue, and listen to festive tunes. Plus, join author Brenda Arce for a special interactive reading of her books Kiss by the Sun and Kiss by the Stars!

Travel back in time with us! This weekend we’re kickin’ it old school for a celebration of play through the ages. Play jumbo versions of your favorite classics like jacks and dominoes, design a forever friend with your take-home pet rock, make scoubidou keychains, turn your family into paper dolls, and keep fun on hand with your custom sock puppet. This weekend will be fun-filled family time for all the generations!

Put on your best costume and get ready to trick or treat throughout Miami Children's Museum's 17 galleries on Sunday, October 4th from 1pm to 5pm! This family-friendly Halloween extravaganza returns for activities like mini pumpkin decorating, spooky arts and crafts, lunch, character meet & greets, and much, much more! Our renowned Haunted House is back, enter if you dare!

All funds raised through this event will directly the support the Museum's educational programs, ensuring the highest quality immersive, hands-on learning experiences for our community's children of all backgrounds and abilities.

Join us this October for a special Halloween Bash this Sensory Saturday, morning of playful learning and discovery in a welcoming, low-stimulation environment! Engage in hands-on play with our spooky sensory bins, play along to halloween music with percussive instruments in our drum circle, and enjoy a theater performance of Creepy Pair of Underwear. Families can also connect with local community partners to gather valuable support and resources. It’s the perfect space for your family to explore, create, and learn at your own pace.

Step into the spotlight and explore the world of theater with our in-house Theater Troupe with activities inspired by our new Halloween production of The Creepy Pair of Underwear. Create shadow puppets and tell a story, design your own glow in the dark underpants and test them out under the blacklight on stage, get your jazz hands ready to perform a musical song and dance, and take a backstage tour. Finally, catch a performance of our spooktacular production of! This weekend is your time to shine!

Join us every Second Sunday of the month from 9:00 am to 11:00 am for exclusive members only early access to the Museum. Enjoy a quieter exploration of the Museum and take a backstage tour of the “Creepy Pair of Underwear” set with our theatre troupe. We're serving complimentary coffee to help parents start the morning off right!

BOO! It’s almost Halloween and we wanted to celebrate with the mini-est of our guests with a special Mini Monster Monday. Dress up in the cutest or spookiest of costumes, trick- or-treat at 12:00pm and 3:30pm, catch a performance from our brand new show, The Creepy Pair of Underwear, tour the Haunted House (if you dare!) and join in our regular Mini Monday play based activities with a creepy twist.
