Although our Theatre Troupe uses Laughter Yoga primarily as an audience warm-up, its practitioners maintain that the true therapeutic benefits accrue only with sustained laughter of five minutes or more. In order to keep laughing there are several different techniques which keep the laughter going. These techniques can be done alone or with friends, the benefits are the same! In this activity, Peter will demonstrate some of the laugh exercises we find useful.

Arepas are cornmeal cakes that originated hundreds of years ago in a region that now makes up Colombia, Venezuela, and Panama. Traditionally, they were cooked on a pan called a budare, but they can also be grilled, baked, or fried.
